Testimonial 2
This is the testimonial of Dana Pergande who entered CVAF VH1 on November 14, 2003.
“When I entered the CVAF program, like many new residents I was homeless, jobless, and penniless. I was furnished a room in a 2 bedroom apartment and was afforded positive assistance from the staff while a resident.”
“I soon was working and CVAF provided transportation to and from my worksite until 5 weeks later, when I had saved enough money to purchase a car. My employer has since paid for me to attend welding classes in the evening and we have plans of opening a small shop soon.”
“I transitioned out of the program 5 months after I began with a job, a car, a savings account and living independently in a 3 bedroom house. CVAF is a positive, goal oriented program that succeeds when veterans take the initiative.”
