This program has personally benefited me by assisting me in my continuing efforts to remain alcohol and drug free.  It has also allowed me the opportunity to save money, for the future, by providing quality, including food, at one very modest flat monthly program fee.

In addition, the staff provides veterans with skills training in the areas of household management, cooking, health, as well as other basic living skills, all necessary to move on to successful independent living arrangements.

However, in my view, the most inportant asect of the program, has been the oppertuinty to live my life with dignity.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the program staff and volunteers, for their tireless efforts on behalf of myself, and all of the other veterans who benefit from the various and diverse programs offered by the California Veterans Assistance Foundation.
